Triple Fishing Rod Holder for YETI Loadout Bucket
Triple Fishing Rod Holder for YETI Loadout Bucket
Triple fishing rod rack designed to securely mount to the infamous YETI® LoadOut® bucket
The rod holders themselves are injection molded with UV stabilized HDPE plastic…just like the YETI® LoadOut® bucket itself. This ensures the rod holders will hold up over many years on the water and under the intense sun.
The frame is made of laser cut and precision bent Aluminum for increased strength and rigidity, while remaining lightweight enough to carry to the end of the pier, jetty or to your favorite honey hole. There are additional laser cut holes in the horizontal rails for future accessories or customer creations (lets see what you come up with!). The unit is assembled with stainless steel hardware to help prevent corrosion in saltwater environments. There are also two rubber feet at the bottom to provide grip to the rod holder and prevent damage to the bucket itself.
The unit mounts to the YETI® LoadOut® bucket with 2 bent hooks that hang from the AnchorpointTM tie-down slots on one side of the bucket. A 3/16” marine-grade bungee cord is then slid into the bungee channels on each side of the lower aluminum frame rail. Optionally, a second bungee cord (provided) can be installed on the top frame rail for a even more secure installation…but its really not needed.
Obviously, the weight of whatever you put in the YETI® LoadOut® Bucket (water, ice, cast net, etc.) determines the stability of the rod holder. So, if your not just using the rod holder for rigging up, baiting, rod storage…but really want to use it for fishing casted baits, then we recommend testing that the drag of your fishing reel isn’t enough to pullover the bucket itself when pulled from the end of you line. That can happen with tight drags, stiffer rods and/or big fish, so be careful.
